Version: 2026.05 · Effective: May 14, 2026
Identity and scope
This notice applies to the idea, patent, and project submission platform operated under the Fikrinle Kazan brand. For KVKK and privacy requests, you can contact us at kvkk@fikrinlekazan.com. For general communication, you can reach us at iletisim@fikrinlekazan.com. The notice covers visitors, applicants, people who query submission status, people who cancel a submission, and people who contact us by email. This English text is provided for convenience; if there is a conflict, the Turkish text prevails.
Categories of personal data
We may process the following categories of data: - Contact and identity-related data: full name, email address, phone number, country, and city. - Submission data: submission type, short title, summary, and uploaded files. - Transaction security data: IP address, user-agent information, timestamps, consent records, and the public tracking code. - Communication data: information you share with us by email, including support and KVKK requests. - Visit and usage data: limited technical information generated through cookies, analytics tools, and error-monitoring tools.
How data is collected
Personal data is collected directly from you. Data may be collected when you complete the submission form, upload files, query a submission by tracking code, cancel your submission, send us an email, or visit the website. Collection may happen through automated or partly automated means.
Purposes and legal grounds
Your personal data may be processed to: - receive, register, and review your submission through a human review process; - contact you about the application and any possible next step; - support potential acquisition, investment, licensing, partnership, or pre-contract discussions; - send receipt or process-related emails; - protect the platform through rate limiting, abuse prevention, access management, and technical security controls; - comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect legitimate rights and interests. Submission content, contact details, and uploaded files are processed mainly on the basis of your explicit consent and your voluntary request to submit material for review. Security, logging, and abuse-prevention processing may rely on legitimate interests. Where required, data may also be processed to comply with legal obligations.
Recipients and transfers
Data may be disclosed, only to the extent necessary, to: - hosting, database, file-storage, and infrastructure providers; - technical vendors used for email delivery, analytics, performance measurement, and error monitoring; - authorized internal reviewers and admin users; - public authorities or other legally authorized bodies when required by law. Your submission content and uploaded files are not published on the platform's official channels, social media accounts, or any other public-facing channel unless the applicant has given express written consent or there is a legal obligation to do so. Depending on the technical setup of the services we use, some data may be processed through servers located outside Turkey, limited to what is required for those services.
Retention
Submission data is retained for as long as it is needed for evaluation, follow-up, and any legitimate commercial or legal process linked to that submission. If you cancel your submission using the public tracking code, the submission text, contact data, and uploaded files are removed from the operational system. A minimal cancellation record may remain for administrative visibility. Where required by law, an active dispute, legal defense, or a legal obligation, the relevant data may continue to be retained for that limited purpose. Security logs, analytics records, and operational data are retained only for the time reasonably required for their purpose, unless longer retention is required by law or an active dispute.
Human review and security
The platform does not make final decisions about submissions solely through automated systems. Each submission is reviewed by people. Access to data is restricted by authorization rules; admin access is protected with a session cookie; uploaded files are not published under public URLs; and error-monitoring and logging flows are configured to avoid sending full submission bodies whenever possible. Despite these measures, no transmission over the internet and no electronic storage method can be considered absolutely secure. The platform commits to applying reasonable technical and administrative measures consistent with industry practice but provides no absolute guarantee against unauthorized access attempts by third parties, incidents at infrastructure providers, leaks originating from the applicant's own devices or accounts, or disclosures the applicant carries out at their own initiative.
Your rights and contact
Under Article 11 of KVKK, you may request information about whether your personal data is processed, why it is processed, to whom it has been disclosed, and request rectification, erasure, objection, or compensation where the legal conditions are met. You can send KVKK-related requests, together with information sufficient to verify your identity, to kvkk@fikrinlekazan.com. We review requests within the periods required by applicable law. If you remain unsatisfied after applying to us first, you may pursue the complaint process before the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority in accordance with the applicable rules.
